Welcome!

The Susan B. Anthony Women's Center is MCLA's resource for women's issues on campus. We assist in the administration of the women's studies minor, and we are associated with the student club STAGE (Students Taking Action for Gender Equality).

It is our goal to make MCLA a safe place for people of all genders, and to eliminate discrimination based on sex/gender. To this end, we organize numerous events, in addition to writing, reasearching, and publishing our newsletter. Our goal is to get people thinking, talking, and questioning bias in society and in themselves.

We are located on the third floor of the Campus Center (room 322). We have a small library and student lounge; come on over if you need assistance researching gender issues, or if you just want a quiet place to study and relax. We welcome people of all gender identities.
