My first MCLA mainstage production was The Mouse That Roared, directed by Doug Jenkins. I played Professor Kokintz, a crazy scientist who invents a nuclear weapon called the Q-bomb.
As a freshman new to the campus theatre community, this was an amazing experience: I had a chance to work with many of the upperclassmen whom I looked up to, in order to see how theatre was done here, and I learned many valuable lessons along the way which have stuck with me through every production I have been involved with since.
I will always look back fondly on this production as the first time I felt like I had a home in the theatre department here at MCLA.
