March 13-15 2012 I had the opportunity to attend the Women as Global Leaders 2012 conference held at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This experience gave me a world view beyond any of my other travel experiences as I was able to meet and interact with people from 86 other countries and numerous other states within my country. Through my attendance at the conference I have made connections and will continue to stay in contact with many woman I would never have met had it not been for the conference.

During my time at the Women as Global Leaders Conference 2012 I was able to complete a certification program through Women for Sustainable Growth. During a six hour program broken over three days I was able to come up with solid ideas and plans to help preserve cultural identity.
