My Name is Lucas McDiarmid! I am a graduate of Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School in Palmer, MA. I Studied residential carpentry which is a major change compared to Political Science which is my major at MCLA!

      My hobbies include writing and reading. I also love horse back riding, target practice, and I am always down for a pick up game of soccer. I am an avid outdoors man. I love a good hike and scrambling up and down inclines. I am an avid kayaker. I love being on the water and experiencing the challenges that each body of water presents.

       I have had jobs in a variety of fields since I began working. My jobs have ranged from maintenance and hospitality (wait staff) to working in the medical field, higher education and local government. BY far my most rewarding job was at an Alzheimers House. More recently I have worked in the campus housing office (Residential Programs and Services or RPS) as well as having been an intern Assistant Town Administrator in Lanesborough, MA. I am also an admissions Ambassador giving tours and representing MCLA  to perspective students and their families.
