After graduating from MCLA, I started working at Metrowest Medical Center as a Mental Health Counselor. Just over a year later, my husband and I welcomed our son Jack into the world. Nothing has ever caused such a radical change in my life as this little guy. Life is now much more challenging but oh so rewarding. He inspired me to go back to school. As I am writing this, I am entrenched in an accelerated nursing program through Northeastern University. Although balancing family, school, and the occassional shift at work is far from easy, I know it will be well worth it.

I love the difference I can make in people's lives as a counselor and cannot wait for the opportunity to do even more as a nurse. It's hard to believe how much my life has changed in the three years since I graduated from MCLA. Though I cannot know exactly what the future has in store for me, I can say these last three years have been great and I look forward to my upcoming years as a fledgling nurse and awesome mom!
