Standard E, Indicator 5: Works actively to involve parents in their child’s academic activities and performance, and communicates clearly with them.
I actively post the students' grades on MMS Gradebook, an online portal for parents, guardians, and students to monitor student progress. For each assignment, I provide a detailed explanation of the assignment and its purpose, so parents have the opportunity to learn slightly more than just seeing the work their student brings home. I have also participated in parent-teacher conferences for the second quarter.
