Family Ties

As a culminating project for ENGL 372/372H, I am writing a fictional piece, using the locales visited overseas as inspiration. 

Below is a brief summary of the project, tentatively titled Family Ties:

When Abbie Berghaus receives news that her grandfather committed suicide at his Scottish estate, her world is turned upside down. With an inconsolable grandmother and a distressed mother, Abbie must leave her luxurious life as a public relations executive in New York and provide the glue to keep the family together, while at the same time embarking on a journey that will leave her forever changed.
