2012 LEAD Academy Staff Application

Leadership in Education, Action and Development

Center for Service and Citizenship

Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts

LEAD Academy prepares freshmen to excel at MCLA, discover pathways to success and distinguish themselves as leaders.  LEAD workshops and activities explore leadership, college success, personal and professional growth, teambuilding, civic engagement and much more.  This four-day action program is an excellent chance for freshmen to jumpstart their MCLA careers and bond with fellow student leaders, faculty and staff.

LEAD Academy staff must be able to fully commit to training and program dates.  LEAD Academy 2012 runs from Saturday, August 4th through Wednesday

August 8th.  Training for staff will begin on Tuesday, July 31st, so the staff position commitment is from July 31st through August 8th.  There will be some training time commitment during the spring semester as well.  Housing will be provided for staff, and a lunch stipend will be provided during summer training. During the program, all meals, activities, transportation and program fees are covered. The position is a paid position.

Completed applications must be submitted by Friday, December 16th.  Applications can be emailed to Spencer Moser on FirstClass, or returned to the Center for Service and Citizenship (CC 308) in the Amsler Campus Center.
