Apply to Graduate School.
| I have begun the process of applying to graduate schools. I have researched top schools for higher education with the New England region and I have narrowed down my selection to seven schools. I have to re-due my resume, ask for letters of recommendation, get my academic transcript, take the GRE's, and begin the applications. I would also like to visit at least four of the schools that I am applying to. | |
| Get a Master Degree in Higher Education. | After a two year program, I hope to graduate in May of 2018 with a Masters in Higher Education. Through my education I hope to work in assistantships, build connections, and get a hands on experience within Student Affairs/Student Development. In my education I hope to learn more, and do research on various topics such as, leadership styles, retention/recruitment, first year experience, diversities within college campuses, and overall more about my personal leadership style. | |
| Get a Job within in the Student Affairs World. | After earning my masters I would like to see myself with a job that showcases the education and experience's. I would like to specifically work with first year student, and orientation programs, however I do not want to limit myself to the opportunities Student Affairs has to offer. I would like to experiences different aspects of student affairs and hopefully by the end of my career be in an administrative role such as the Vice President of Student Affairs at an institution. |
